In recent years, Switzerland, Japan and other countries have carried out in-depth research and great improvement on the EDM equipment, and have manufactured high-precision NC and CNC wire cutting machines with complete functions. The machining accuracy can reach ± 0.005 ~ 0.001mm, or even smaller. The surface roughness Ra can reach 0.4 μ M. The blanking size of the metal stamping die produced by Heju stamping is accurate to + / – 0.01, and the bending dimension is within + / – 0.08mm.
Using precision grinding method to manufacture precision stamping die, especially to manufacture high precision and long life stamping die, such as thin material small gap compound blanking die, multi station continuous compound die, etc., has the characteristics of high dimensional accuracy, small roughness of working parts processing surface Ra value and high die life. The main way of stamping die parts is rough machining by WEDM or electric piercer, and finally precision grinding. The machining accuracy can reach ± 0.001 ~ 0.0005mm and the surface roughness Ra value can reach 0.1 ~ 0.025 μ M. Therefore, the die made by this process can meet the requirements of the die, especially for various composite dies, regardless of the dimensional accuracy and surface roughness of the working parts, which is one grade higher than that of the die made by the EDM process.
