Successful application of new type of flat vertical compound rolling mill independently developed by MCC Jingcheng

At the beginning of 2020, the new type of horizontal vertical composite rolling mill independently developed by Beijing Jingcheng Ruixin long Material Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. of MCC Jingcheng has been successfully put into use in the bar production lines of two domestic steel enterprises, and has been running stably up to now (see Figure 1). The new type of flat vertical composite rolling mill overcomes the disadvantages of traditional flat vertical conversion rolling mill, and combines with the new generation of slitting controlled rolling and controlled cooling technology developed by MCC Jingcheng, realizes the low-cost and high-efficiency production of new national standard ribbed steel bar, and brings good economic benefits for the enterprise.

The continuous rolling process can be used to produce round steel, square steel, flat steel, slitting steel bar, channel steel and angle steel on modern long product line. For symmetrical section products such as round steel, square steel and large-size steel bar, in order to ensure the size and quality of products, the finishing mill usually adopts “flat vertical” alternate arrangement to realize non torsion rolling; for small-sized steel products, in order to ensure high hourly output, the finishing mill group usually adopts “flat vertical flat flat” layout to realize multi line split rolling; for flat steel, it adopts “flat vertical and flat” layout to realize multi line splitting rolling According to the requirements of pass and rolling schedule, irregular horizontal vertical flexible arrangement is required for finishing mill to meet the variety of pass. Therefore, if it is necessary to produce round steel, square steel, single large-size steel bar, slitting small-sized steel bar, flat steel, channel steel, angle steel and other products in a continuous rolling production line, multiple traditional horizontal and vertical conversion rolling mills are often used in the finishing mill.
However, over the years, all manufacturers have reported that there are many problems in the flat vertical conversion mill, such as the rotating frame is thin and easy to be deformed and damaged, the rolling mill vibrates greatly, the conversion is not in place, the operation and maintenance is difficult, and the accident rate is high. Forced by helpless, many production lines can only give up the vertical rolling mill mode and only use the horizontal mode. In the end, the so-called flexible conversion device has become a device that can not be seen and used in China. As a result, the production line can not meet the production requirements of multiple varieties of processes, but also limits the production efficiency and product quality. Faced with the “pain point” of this industry for many years, MCC Jingcheng Credit Suisse long material innovation proposed to have independent horizontal and vertical composite rolling mill mode in the same stand position, combined with its own proprietary technology product of the fifth generation short stress line intelligent core, developed a patent product new H & V flat vertical composite rolling mill (Patent No. 201811610970.8201822215616.7) (see Fig. 2). This model improves the stability of rolling mill operation, reduces the cost of equipment maintenance, and can adapt to the new generation of slitting controlled rolling and controlled cooling technology to realize low-temperature finishing rolling process, which greatly improves the production efficiency and efficiency.

The equipment composition of the new flat vertical compound rolling mill is as follows
(1) Horizontal mill train, including rolling mill body, horizontal mill spindle, horizontal traverse device, horizontal spindle bracket, horizontal mill reducer and horizontal motor (see Fig. 3);
(2) Vertical mill train includes rolling mill body, vertical mill spindle, vertical lifting device, vertical pushing device, vertical spindle bracket, vertical mill reducer and vertical motor (see Fig. 4).
