In the production of metal stamping parts, continuous die is a very common stamping die, to know a good die directly related to the final quality of metal stamping parts, many users in the production of stamping parts, the continuous die damage, which not only leads to the decline of product quality stability, but also increases the production cost of enterprises, so what are the reasons for it What about the damage?
There are many reasons for the damage of continuous die
1. In the stamping process, the strength of the progressive die is too low, or the force is not uniform, it is easy to lead to poor orientation and tilt of the die, which will lead to inflexible die closing. In addition, if there are impurities between the templates, it will cause the die to be stuck. This is the need to terminate production, find out the cause of die clamping and effectively connect the Second Bureau, otherwise the continuous die will be damaged.
2. Whether the manufacturing materials and processing technology of metal stamping parts are qualified has a great impact on the service life of the progressive die. If the quenching method is improper, the temperature is unreasonable, and the tempering times are not correct, the progressive die will be damaged.
3. In the process of processing, there are foreign matters or waste materials blocked and not cleaned in time, even if the progressive die can still be used in a short time, but long-term use. Die damage is inevitable.
4. In the process of use, the installation position and direction of parts are wrong, the bolts are not tightened during installation, the height adjustment is too low during operation, and the fault light of feeding equipment will also cause damage to the progressive die.
Because the production process of progressive die is complex and the production cost is high, once it is damaged, it will increase the enterprise’s investment in production cost. Therefore, it is suggested that during the use period, it should be used correctly and maintained reasonably to extend its service life.
